While traveling in Spain I was put under a spell by the beautiful melodic strains of gypsy flamenco music, in this trancelike state, I was set upon by a band of gypsies & robbed. Vowing revenge I have studied their musical forms for a number of years – hoping to weave a few spells of my own…

The members of Intuition Quartet have been playing and evolving together for more than 10 years. On our set list are jazz, R&B, bossa nova, blues and folk/rock, including original compositions and instrumentals as well as vocals. Our favorite venues have included La Casa in Mamaroneck, MP Taverna in Irvington, the Pelham Art Center, Recologie in New Rochelle, Taiim Cellar in Scarsdale, area farmers’ markets and festivals, and more.

George Mallas is a Singer/Songwriter based in North Salem, NY. Having been a student of the piano since age 6, the instrument is a natural extension of who he is. His experiences in life, love and family have profoundly inspired his songs, his style, and his passion for playing.
