James G Barry is based in Brooklyn NY. Over the lockdown James and his band mate David B Wilson started writing and releasing music based on jams they were having while playing in public parks. “Scrantonia” is an epic polka-rock-jam-opus followed by “14.7lbf/sqin” that celebrates the bitter sweet feeling of getting to play again after the lockdown. They throw covers into the mix that range from Morphine to Johnny Cash to The Dead Kennedys.

They combine sax/vocals in Mandarin/English with Chinese violin and a rhythm section. An Irvington native, her album Asymptote focused on jazz reinventions of Chinese folk songs.

Slingshots plays a groovy collection of covers that span the likes of funk, soul, latin and jazz. Listen closely, you might hear a popular song with a slightly different vibe or feel.
Slingshots began as outdoor rehearsals during the pandemic in 2020. Dave, Chris, Steve and Jeremy began as an instrumental group but wanted to access more great tunes. Since then they have added Rebecca Hirschberg as a vocalist to the cast.

Us! happened when Judy Kass, Glen Roethel and Amy Soucy came together to write songs encouraging positive change, unity, and dialogue. The trio spices their message-driven compositions with luscious harmonies, robust melodies, and unexpected twists and turns. The Us! co-write, “Too Much Crying” garnered a Gold Award in the Open Category of the 36th Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. Currently, Us! is in the studio working on their first album with an anticipated release in 2023.
