The Battle Brothers started out playing in Blues clubs in Greenwich Village and have been working in the R&B and Jazz field including a stint in the 1990s in the original R&B group ‘Nuance’. Since then, The Battle Brothers have been creating their own original sound.
Joined by Kaori Yamada on percussion. Kaori emigrated from Japan 10 years ago as a Jazz pianist and switched to drums inspired by Art Blakey and Bernard ‘Pretty’ Purdie.
