Emy and the Epix is a swing blues, rockabilly band with a touch of jazz, fronted by the sensational singer, Emy B (Finalist at the legendary Amateur Night at the Apollo). They play the music of artists like Ruth Brown, Wanda Jackson, LaVern Baker, Etta James, and Janis Martin just to name a few. There might even be an Elvis tune in there. When the time is right, the band lowers the temperature with cool jazz à la Peggy Lee or Billie Holiday before going back to rocking the house.
