Stephanie Chou blends influences from her Chinese heritage with jazz/pop. Her band has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Joe’s Pub, and in festivals worldwide. They combine sax/vocals in Mandarin/English with Chinese violin and a rhythm section. An Irvington native, her album Asymptote focused on jazz reinventions of Chinese folk songs.

He’s released 6 albums, and had music featured on film and the TV show “Gossip Girl.”

Exit 12 is an eclectic jazz quintet based in Hastings on Hudson:  Glenn Babakian plays trombone in jazz and classical venues. David Hamburger’s played bass and toured with NYC rock bands throughout the 1980s and ‘90s. Mark Kaufman plays jazz, R&B and Jewish music on saxophones, clarinet and bass clarinet.  Bill Reeve has played drums with many of the great names in jazz.  Sometimes raucous, often joyful, always new.

The festivities begin at 1 pm. The Farragut Middle School Jazz Band will open the show, followed by toe-tapping tunes of The Hastings High School Jazz Band.
